The Centre for Research and Education in the Arts (CREA) is committed to enhancing the arts - dance, design, drama, literature, visual arts, music, and music therapy - in research and educational practice.

CREA connects communities: student and staff communities, school communities, scholarly communities, and the wider community through an exciting program of performances, children's art activities, publications, short courses, open lectures and seminars.

The Master of Education in Creative Arts offered by the Faculty of Education, UTS, has specialisations in children's literature and literacy, children's art, and youth performance studies.

CREA also supports the Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy and the CREA Music Therapy Clinic.
