These programs are developed to meet the needs of the arts education community as identified in discussion with industry partners, the Association of Independent Schools, the Department of Education and Training, and the Catholic Education Commission. Programs are offered in the area of visual arts education (for example, the VANN program includes a CPE course for practising teachers); children's literature and literacy (a number of programs presented both at UTS and in a variety of external venues - primary and secondary schools, libraries and other institutions), drama (workshops for teachers); and music (Orff and Kodaly workshops, plus workshops in various aspects of music education).
