Creative Samoa Program

Developed in collaboration with the National University of Samoa and the Department of Education and Training (DET), the Association of Independent Schools (AIS), and the Catholic Education Commission.
It enables students to:

  • participate in a study tour of Samoa
  • attend seminars at the National University of Samoa
  • research an area of interest (literature and folktale, children's literature, visual arts, music, curriculum design, primary/secondary education, adult education, teacher education, nursing and nursing education, history etc)
  • present that research as part of an accredited postgraduate subject at UTS
  • experience two weeks of intensive scholarly community
