K-6 Creative Arts Syposium

17-18 June 2004. CREA hosted this AIS symposium for teachers. It includeda range of plenary sessions and workshop choices from the four strands of creative arts. UTS Senior Lecturer in Visual Arts and CREA's Director of Vis Arts, Dr Anne Bamford and Associate Professor Barbara Poston-Anderson, CREA's Creative Scholar, were among the presenters.

Arts Education - Visual Arts Network North Gifted and Talented Extension - VANN

As a part of CREA’s strong community service focus, the highly successful VANN series was expanded in 2000 to cover a 4 day period and over 500 primary and secondary school students have attended the program each year. The program was also filmed and has formed the basis of a CD Rom, video and booklet publications distributed to all NSW Schools.

Animals in Wonderland Exhibition. UTS Gallery, Sydney Australia. (April 9th-May 10th)

This recent exhibition featured the work of award winning illustrators Pamela Allen, Bronwyn Bancroft, Bob Graham, Armin Greder, Dick Hoogeven, David Legge, Pamela Loft, Emma Quay, Mike Spoor and Julie Vivas alongside the research works of CREA’s Dr Linda Knight.
