CREArTA

The journal was introduced to meet the needs of arts educators in several areas identified by them during sessions and seminars discussing arts research. It has a strong international board of referees, representing a wide educational sphere, including the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles.
The journal is international and interdisciplinary. It:
- provides an opportunity to discuss and develop new ways of thinking about the
- arts in education;
- stimulates discussions about arts methodologies and arts research;
- provides a service of dissemination to arts communities of new practices and
- current debates.
Contributions are welcomed. For more information, see the CREArTA section of this website.
CREA Publications
The Centre has recently established CREA Publications. These are available for order from CREA, and from the UTS and other selected Co-op Bookshops.

By Terri Morley-Warner
How to write academically to meet the expectations of lecturers is often a major concern for students, at all levels of study. This book attempts to demystify some of the practices of academic writing for students currently studying at university.
It addresses such topics as: understanding what is expected, writing the essay and report, making it 'sound' academic, writing various types of text - from the abstract to the literature review, referencing and paraphrasing, and editing and proofreading.
